2015 ROYAL INTERNATIONAL AIR TATTOO FAIRFORD

In 2015 the RIAT air show at Fairford promises to be spectacular with VE celebrations dominating the theme this year. One of the biggest formations of WWII period aircraft will take place comprising the Bristol Blenheim, 5 Hawker Hurricanes, 12 Supermarine Spitfires and the Hispano Buchon with more aircraft to be confirmed. It is expected that this formation will take place around 1300 hrs local on the 18/19 July so make sure you arrive early to secure a good vantage point. Around Battle of Britain aircraft will take part in this formation making it one of the largest formations of WWII aircraft to fly since the end of the hostilities in 1945. This will surely be a very fitting tribute to the Few.
